With WF Self-Serve, automated communica¬tion in and out of UKG Dimensions eliminates the costs and errors associated with employees making calls to a call center, receptionist, or manager or leaving a voice message to report they will be late or absent. Employees can report lateness or absence via interactive text or phone. Costs associated with manual, inbound calls to report sickness or lateness are eliminated. Lateness and absence information goes directly into UKG Dimensions, creating an open shift and updating the employee pay code. In addition, WF Self-Serve provides employees with the ability to punch in/out via interactive phone call, the ability to transfer the location of jobs, and the ability to phone whitelist. All these features are in real-time.

When your schedule has an open shift, it will automatically be sent to Automated Shift Fill to find staff to work. Using all existing scheduling rules in your UKG Dimensions system, Automated Shift Fill will call out the shift to the impacted pool of employees using interactive notification by text, voice, web portal or email. Staff can respond via their method of choice to accept or decline a shift, log their preferences and check shift history in the secure Employee Portal.
